Sponsor-A-Ride Senior Transportation Service

Do you have trouble getting where you need to go?
Are you 60 years of age or older?
If you do, Sponsor-A-Ride may be able to help.

What is Sponsor-A-Ride Transportation Service?

The Sponsor-A-Ride (SAR) program provides transportation options for our aging population, those who are not eligible for publicly funded programs yet because of frequency of need or a fixed income cannot afford private pay options.

Through the ride sponsorship program, family, friends, neighbors, and the community can make donations to a transportation account established on behalf of an older adult. The benefit of using the Sponsor-A-Ride transportation program is to ensure access to services that promote independence and dignity and allow individuals to maintain an interactive lifestyle with their community.

SAR is currently accepting donations and sponsorships. Once enough funds are established (estimate of early 2009), the Sponsor-A-Ride (SAR) program will begin providing transportation options to seniors living in Clark County. As our donation fund base grows, Cowlitz, Wahkiakum, Skamania, and Klickitat Counties will also be served.
