Transportation Dispatcher-Scheduler

The Human Services Council is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Transportation
Dispatcher/Scheduler for its Non-Emergency Medicaid Transportation Program. The individual selected for this position will be expected to input, schedule, modify and assign appropriate transportation providers to pending trips in a prompt, courteous and professional manner and answer incoming calls and schedule appropriate transportation following Medicaid Brokerage policies, procedures and protocols as part of their primary duties. Required experience includes a Bachelor's Degree or two years of college level course work and two years of relevant work experience or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the essential job functions. Two years of experience involving dispatching, scheduling and/or screening in a Call Center environment and bilingual skills are highly desirable but not required.

• Share an experience in which you effectively scheduled and dispatched workers, crews, and/or vehicles. What factors did you consider to determine the appropriate scheduling actions? How would you ensure that you were scheduling and dispatching in the most cost effective manner?
• Describe your experience interviewing clients, obtaining information, and providing assistance over the phone, by email or in person.

Transportation Services Customer Service Representative

(CONTINUOUS RECRUITMENT)

The Human Services Council is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Customer Service Representative (CSR) for its transportation services programs. CSRs determine eligibility and authorize transport for Medicaid and Non-Medicaid clients in SW Washington. Screening and scheduling are performed over the phone. Minimum requirements include two years of college level course work and one year of relevant work experience or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Bilingual skills are highly desirable. Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
