Dick Hannah's Subaru Share The Love Event Donation

On behalf of the Human Services Council’s staff and Board of Directors, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to Subaru of America, Inc. and to Dick Hannah Subaru in Clark County, Washington for selecting the Human Services Council (HSC) as its Hometown Charity during the 2017 Share the Love event.  We would also like to thank those in our community who selected HSC to be their customer selected charity and congratulate them on their new Subaru!

Colleen Kuhn, Executive Director, stated “The generous donations received through the Subaru Share the Love event will be used by HSC to develop a Volunteer Driver and Driver Training Program.  By doing so, we will be able to combine the collective strengths of HSC’s Volunteer Connections and Transportation Programs, which in turn will enable us to provide transportation for a greater number of seniors, people with disabilities, veterans and other at-risk populations in our community. As HSC’s Tree Logo suggests, we are rooted in our community, and offer many programs through our branches. This donation will provide the seeds necessary to expand HSC services and help those we serve to flourish.”

The Human Services Council provides people with access to services, transportation and volunteer opportunities to impact their lives and strengthen our Southwest Washington community.
